Corporate Events

Get Wet can offer various packages for corporate groups. Naturally we can offer corporate groups any of standard activities which they can take part in as part of a fun day of staff bonding. We can also lay on bespoke days to encourage team building and help to enhance leadership skills within the team.

Our day package for team building combines various command tasks, problem solving and navigation skills which contribute to encourage positive team work and communication between a group of individuals. Teams will start their day with a selection of clues which when solved will provide them with a location and code to break a safe. The contents of the safe are invaluable to their days task. Teams will be expected to navigate their way using OS maps around the Dee Valley completing challenges at different locations. Successful completion of challenges will be rewarded with clues to reveal the destination of some top secret information. The top secret information has fallen into the wrong hands and must be recovered by the teams by revealing the location of the un-friendlies and mounting an assault on their base. Dressed and armed with the latest in anti terrorism paintball equipment an assault will be mounted against the terrorists to recover the secret files.

All groups will receive a full debrief on completion of the day.

As an add on to the days activities groups can add an overnight stay in our private 55 acre forest located high up on the hills above the Dee Valley. Staying overnight allows for additional bonding to take place within the team. After debriefing the days activities we provide a fantastic BBQ for all participants and staff from the day. Our staff will stay on hand to promote conversation, fun and games around the camp fire. Groups will quite often bring some alcohol with them for the evening and this is perfectly fine with us! By taking the option of staying for an overnight camp managers will find that their teams are given the chance to socialise with each other as well in an out of work environment where people can relax, this isn't a punishment, it's a treat, a night away from mobile phones, a night of good food, good conversation and hopefully good company!

If people choose to stay overnight then we try and encourage a group activity in the ropes course on the following day. This is a great activity to show how far a team has progressed, how much effort they are prepared to put in to help a colleague. During the ropes session special challenges will be given to the teams to see how they are now able to cope under pressure.

An evening meal in Crogen Hall can be added on as an additional reward for the participants of the team building days. Whether they have taken part in a half, full or 2 day package they will appreciate sitting in the great dinning room at Crogen Hall and being waited on for a relaxing 3 course meal.
